Who should start with a consultation
- First-time clients with more than one concern — thick nails, calluses and cracked heels together are common, and the order you tackle them in matters.
- Anyone unsure what they are looking at. Yellow, thick nails are not always fungus; they can come from pressure, injury, psoriasis or age. Yulia cannot diagnose, but she can tell you what she sees and whether it is worth showing a doctor.
- Clients with diabetes or circulation problems, so the plan is built around your health from the first visit.
- People considering toenail braces who want to know whether their nail is a good candidate.

Consultation: common questions
Do you diagnose nail fungus or other conditions?
No. MediPedi is a cosmetic foot care studio, so we do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Yulia will tell you what she sees and, if it looks like something that needs lab testing or prescription care, she will suggest seeing a podiatrist or dermatologist.
What should I bring?
A list of any current foot medications, notes from a podiatrist if you have them, and ideally the shoes you wear most often.
How long does the consultation take?
About 30 minutes.
Do you take insurance?
No. We are self-pay and do not bill insurance. You pay in the studio after your visit — nothing is charged online.
I have diabetes. Should I start with a consultation?
Yes, it is the best first step. Please also get clearance from your physician before your first visit.
