Pedicure for Seniors in Troy, MI
When bending down gets harder and nails get thicker, foot care is often the first thing to slip. Our waterless medical pedicure takes care of thick nails, calluses and dry heels gently and safely, with one specialist and plenty of time.

Why feet get harder to care for with age
- Nails thicken and harden, so ordinary clippers crack or slip.
- Reaching your feet becomes difficult with stiff hips, knees or back.
- Eyesight makes it harder to see what you are cutting.
- Skin gets thinner and drier, so heels crack and small cuts heal slowly.
- Blood thinners mean even a small nick can bleed for a long time.
Thick, long nails and painful calluses can change the way a person walks, and that matters for balance. Keeping feet comfortable is part of staying active and steady.
What a visit looks like
A comfortable start
You stay seated in a comfortable chair the whole time. There is no tub to step into and nothing to soak.
Thick nails, made thin
Nails are thinned and shortened with an e-file, which is painless and avoids cracking the nail or cutting skin.
Calluses and heels
Hard skin and dry, cracked heels are smoothed without blades.
Easy home care
A simple routine you or a family member can manage between visits.
Booking for a parent
Many appointments are booked by adult children. Book online using your parent’s name and email (reminders go to that address), and note any conditions — diabetes, blood thinners, circulation problems — in the booking field. If anything is unclear, call us at (248) 941-3979 before the visit. There is free parking on site at 2891 E Maple Rd.
Clients with diabetes or circulation problems should get their doctor’s clearance first. More on that on our diabetic-friendly pedicure page.
Common questions
Can I book an appointment for my mother or father?
Yes. Use their name and email in the online booking and note any health conditions. You are welcome to call us first if you have questions.
My parent takes blood thinners. Is that a problem?
Please tell us when you book. We use no blades and work conservatively, which is exactly what someone on blood thinners needs.
How often should seniors have a medical pedicure?
Every four to eight weeks for most people, so nails never get thick enough to press in shoes.
Is there parking?
Yes, free on-site parking right at the studio.
Do you take Medicare or insurance?
No, we are self-pay. You pay in the studio after the visit.
